Printed Heatshrink Hose Identification

High quality heat shrink markers or 'sleeves' for hose and pipe identification - custom printed by us, to your specific requirements, on most types, sizes and colours of sleeving.

Measuring Heat Shrink (for Hose Identification)

• Heatshrink sleeving is extruded at a minimum, fully shrunk size, measured by the inner diameter of the sleeving, and then EXPANDED to the supplied (ordering) size: minimum 1.2mm, maximum 101.6mm.
• The most suitable sleeving size for your heat shrink hose identification markers will have an expanded inner diameter which slides easily over your hose and then, following the application of heat by heat gun, tunnel or flame, shrinks down tightly onto the hose.
• Unless the full electrical and/or mechanical properties of the heat shrink are required, a size which is larger in diameter than necessary, will only add cost, shrinking time and energy.
• For a uniformly sized product such as a hose without a connector fitted, select the minimum expanded (ordering) size which will slide on easily.
• For a product which is not uniform, such as a hose with a connector fitted, select the minimum expanded (ordering) size which will fit over the largest section (the connector) and can shrink down to the smallest section (the hose).
• Identimark can supply heat shrink hose identification markers at any length to suit your requirements (or mark repeatedly along the length of a reel). Please note: there is also a slight longitudinal reduction of around 5-10% when fully shrunk.
